National honour for City teacher

President Prathibha Patil will present the award on September 5, in New Delhi. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 25,000 and a silver medal, according to an official communique from Union Ministry of Human Resources Development.

Satyaprakash has been teaching at VVS since 1981. He has bagged many awards in appreciation of his teaching skills.

He has been conducting workshops for high school and primary school teachers across the State. He provides free coaching for poor SC/ST students.
