No parking in Kukke temple premises

Speaking at a meeting on marking parking areas, he said the development work on the temple at the cost of Rs 180 crore is under progress. In the first phase, Rs 60 crore has been utilised and the work is nearing completion. As most of the development works are undertaken near Adi Subrahmanya temple, the road to Adi Subrahamanya has been widened. A new road will be laid from KSRTC bus stand to Adi Subrahmanya.

The movement of vehicles and parking will be banned in Car Street. A notification will be issued on vehicle-free zone from Gopura to Car Street. At the same time, movement of vehicles will be banned in the temple premises. The work on parking at Kashikatte is under progress. Toilets will be constructed for the devotees near Savari Mantapa.

Temple Executive Officer R Madhava, Subramanya Police station officer Sunil Kumar and others were present.
