The present vice chancellor S Ramananda Shetty will complete his tenure on July 13.
The three-member committee will recommend a list of names for consideration. Dr M S Thimmappa, former V-C of Bangalore University, Dr Mayilvahanam Natarajan, vice-chancellor, Dr MGR Medical College, Tamil Nadu and Dr M V Ramanamma, former director of Medical Education, Andhra Pradesh are the members.
