The suspended are Ramakanth, who served as Sandur Circle Police Inspector, Sub-inspector Umesh, who served in Toranagal Police Station and Head Constable Suryanarayana, who is at present not serving in the district. The suspension orders have been issued by Superintendent of Police Chandra Gupta.

The JMFC Court had issued warrant on nine occasions to Janardhana Reddy, owner of Obulapuram Mining Company, for failing to appear in the Court in connection with a charge that OMC had in 2006 destroyed the border marking between Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh in Tumti mining area.

However, instead of serving the warrant, each time the police personnel reported that Reddy was absconding.
