Following an impleading application by Sauharda Auto Union (SAU) stating that the State government has decided to issue more permits based on their suggestions and is aimed at curbing rude behaviour of auto drivers, Justice Abdul Nazeer dismissed the petition by some auto drivers challenging the March 23 notification of the Transport Department to issue 40,000 new permits for LPG-run, four-stroke engine autorickshaws.
