The members are of different ethnic and professional backgrounds and have come together to form this club in Bangalore because of their love for music.

The purpose of forming this club was to showcase the hidden talents of people who are not professionally into music or a singing career.

The event is the fourth installment after three successful shows organised by the club in various parts of the City. This show was completely dedicated to the emotion
of love.

“With so much hatred and violence in the country now, we wanted to bring back that feeling of love and unity. So we thought of organising this show for our loved ones and other people,” said head of productions, Ekta Shah.

The show was staged in front of club patron, Hindustani classical music singer, Sangeeta Katti and an audience who cheered with the songs. Most of the 12 members of the club sang old Hindi songs that are considered romantic classics.

Ekta Shah, the only professional singer from the club, sang few songs along with the other talented members, Aniket Prabhu, Sheelu Mehta, Ganesha S, Sujit and Shyam Sundar.

The show opened with the old epic hit O hansini from the movie Zehreela Insaan sung by one of the best singers of the club, Aniket Prabhu. There was also a six-member-band managed by fellow member Sujit, which played on while the singers sang.

This was followed by duets, and even songs sung by three members together. The members took the audience through a long journey of old romantic ballads that have been etched into Bollywood’s history as the best romantic songs ever.

Old hits like Aajkal Pao Zameen Par, Dilbar Mere, Main Shayar Toh Nahi, Dheeme Dheeme Gaun were sung by the different songsters at
the event.

The collection of songs sung dated back to the olden times starting from the 1950s to the 1980s.

The show, said to be a celebration of timeless love, showcased a huge collection of songs from romantic movies panning decades and that have turned out to be epic hits.

Tributes to the great singers and the movies of yesteryears were paid by Ekta Shah who was also the emcee for the event.

More old ballads were sung and the audience happily cheered on. Sakshi Jain, a homemaker said, “The show was so beautiful and all the singers sang so well. It made me very happy to come here.” The show has definitely won the hearts of the audience
and they are looking forward to the next production of 7Sur soon.
