Close to her heart

Now, the actress is all set to play a college girl in Kavitha Lankesh’s new project Crazy Loka. Calling the role as one close to her heart, Harshika expresses her enthusiasm in sharing screen space with the ‘Crazy Star’ V Ravichandran, who will be playing an important role in the film.

“I play the love interest of Ravi sir’s son in the film. The movie talks about two completely different generations coming together. Ravi sir’s character comes back to college. But why does he return? You will have to wait and watch,” says Harshika, who plays a very modern and bubbly girl in the movie.

Shooting for the film will start later next week but Harshika got to meet the star during the launch. “I have never met such a humble and down-to-earth person. I have seen so many of his films on screen and had always wanted to work with him. When I spoke to him, he too said that he was equally excited to play this role more so because he rarely gets an opportunity to play his age,” she says. “This will also be the first time I will be working with a lady director. I really like the way Kavitha maam works and look forward to going on the sets.”

That’s not all. Harshika’s kitty is full of many offers. She will soon be seen in Ko Ko, ‘Beat’ and Advaitha. Looks like one will get to see more of this talented belle in the months to come.
