M C Halli primary school adopted

 Addressing the media person, here recently, president of the Group, Prof Somashekar said that, during the NCC camp conducted in the school in 2008, in which he participated as a chief guest, he noticed that the school was lacking basic amenities.

In order to help the students, the group has provided toilet, compound with gate, drinking water facilities through overhead tank, he said.

A well-equipped kitchen will be constructed at the school,  for which the Government has released funds of Rs 60,000 and the group has contributed Rs 2 lakh for the purpose.

He suggested the school authorities in the rural areas, to utilise the resources provided by the government and by the donors for the educational progress of the schools.
