College of Advanced Technology Studies (CATS) was started in the year 2003 under the Micro D Foundation. CATS is an industry-partnered institution with a strong emphasis on industry and academic interactions.

The students of CATS undergo a PGPM course with a duality of an MBA programme, which is on a reconnaissance from the Girne American University (GAU) of Cyprus, which recognises and acknowledges the programmes conducted by CATS.

CATS is unique in its teaching pedagogy, in its mentorship as well as the course curriculum which is tailor-made to suit modern requirements of management. The programmes are run on very professional lines with experienced hands from the industry and academics handling the sessions.

A student of CATS has a plethora of benefits like dual degree, dual specialisation, 100 pc placements, industrial visits, global accreditations, transfer options to the partnering universities and an affordability at a great quality, exposure in participating and organising national and international seminars and being part of student community comprising of foreign and Indian students.

GAU is accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE) the prime accrediting body for specialist business colleges and Schools in US. It is also recognised by National Recognition Information Centre for the United Kingdom (NARIC). The International Federation for Business Education (IFBE) and the European Council for Business Educations. CATS students can avoid transfer options to any of the partnered universities.

CATS has tied up with companies for internships  in company practices, market research, internships, business development internships, financial consulting, project development and human resource internships. The students are paid stipends and also get hands on experience in the respective fields of interests. This acts as a strong ground for the placements of our students in companies like JP Morgan, Ernst and Young, TCS, Northern Trust Bank, ICICI Pru, Bharti AXA, IBM, ANZ support services etc.

The CATS  PGPM/MBA  programme is conducted in six trimester with specialisations in Human Resource, Marketing, Finance and International Business, with each trimester having 90 working days to master business skills required for an entrepreneur and global manager. Students can transfer their credits to the GAU campus or the affiliating Universities after the completion of three trimesters.
