They have also said that the Government’s action is also a violation of Karnataka Parks and Playground Preservation Act which says that no statues will be permitted in the public places unless it is servants quarters or pump houses.<br /><br />The petitioners have also pointed out that installing the statue now will be a violation of election code of conduct considering the bypolls.
