<p>The boy has been identified as Shivu of Girijana Colony in Maanemoole Hadi. <br />Dr Devi Anand and Mobile Girijana Health unit’s Dr Raghunath told Deccan Herald that the children were malnourished making them prone to the disease. <br /><br />They said that blood samples of the children have been sent to the lab for diagnoses. <br /><br />The hadi, which has 25-30 families, lacks basic facilities and has no access to even an <br />Anganwadi.</p>.<p>The denizens go to Kerala, Kodagu and other places to work as daily-wage labourers. </p>.<p>They aren’t concerned about health and fail to go to hospitals for treatment.
