This was how the actor’s son and film producer Raghavendra Rajkumar recalled after inaugurating a free health check-up and blood donation camps organised here on Sunday.
Precision Diagnostics had organised the camp as part of its anniversary celebration.

Raghavendra Rajkumar said that his father was always independent, so much so that he was washing his clothes too. He was of the belief that one should not depend on others and when the time comes, one should merge with god.

“When I joined MBBS, my father was very happy. However, I had to discontinue it, for the lure of filmdom. Now, Shivanna’s (Shivarajkumar) daughter is studying to become a doctor”, said Raghavendra Rajkumar. Citing his own example, he said he underwent angiography at the age of 24 and is still maintaining good health.

Bemoans

Though there are many advancements in technology, there is also a rise in the number of diseases. What it takes to be healthy is to be cautious.

Said Raghavendra Rajkumar; Dr Rajkumar Prathishtan has been conducting free eye check-up camp in every district, besides funding the treatment of needy children.
