I remember how my brother would plan his annual trips to India during Raksha Bandhan while he was studying in the US.  I would be touched by the affection and care he showered on me. This relationship is, truly, special for everyone.

Says Nisha, an employee of Infosys, “My brother makes my life happening and interesting. We freak out together; we share our problems, frustrations and dreams.”  Rakesh Tandur, who works at Toshiba, says, “The presence of my younger sister lifts up my mood. She is a darling and I’d do anything for her happiness.”

Satyendra Kumar Singh, an employee at Ford, says, “Being the youngest in the family has its advantages. My elder sister and brother pamper me a lot. Raksha Bandhan evokes so many childhood memories.  My father would give some shagun and gifts for her. But my brother and I would trouble her a great deal before giving her her gifts. It was so much fun.

She is the most adorable sis in the world.”
