This year, the music festival began on April 3 and ended on May 10.
The closing concert was performed by Hindustani music stalwart Parveeen Sultana. She left the audience at the Fort High school grounds spellbound on Sunday.
This year, nearly 250 artists appeared on stage. The concerts, which were mostly traditional, were from both the Hindustani and Carnatic genres.
According to the General Secretary for the Mandali, an average of 2,000 people were present everyday to enjoy the musical fiesta. The audience, which mostly consisted of elders, also had younger enthusiasts among them.
