Speaking to media persons at the sidelines of the ‘Aatidongi Koota,’ programme in Udupi on Saturday, he said: “Stringent action will be taken against those who go against the party ethics. The Centre has empowered the State unit to go for stern actions against the people who follow indiscipline and accordingly former MLA Renukacharya has been issued notice.”
Stating that action will be taken after considering the response, Gowda said the party members who supported Renukachrya have not commented on the notice that has been issued to him. But if they do so they will not be spared either.
He informed that preparations are on for the by-polls and the party is optimistic to clinch victory.
