<p>The Chief Minister, who chaired a high-level meeting of the officers to review the progress of work on Reach-1 connecting M G Road and Byappanahalli, directed the BMRCL MD Sivasailam and BJP leader Dhananjay Kumar to obtain the safety certificate from the railway minister at the earliest.<br /><br />Sadananda Gowda on his visit to Delhi on Friday met Union Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi and requested him to issue safety certificate in 10 days’ time. <br /><br />The Minister for Railways has agreed to Gowda’s request. The date of inaugurating Namma Metro will be finalised only after obtaining the certificate and inspecting the progress of work.<br /><br /></p>
