Vengeful woman has father killed

Deadly plan

Rajpati Devi, 45, a resident of Sikhmapur village in the UP district, who had hatched the conspiracy along with her husband, has been arrested and sent to jail for her deeds. She had left behind evidence that exposed her lies and led to her arrest.

The police sources said Rajpati’s husband Virendra Singh Yadav and his two sons Manish and Sanjay Yadav had last year shot dead their neighbour Annop Yadav following a petty dispute.

The trio were later arrested but Virendra was released on bail. His two sons were still languishing in the jail.  After her husband’s release, Rajpati told him that she wanted to implicate her neighbours in a murder case so that they were also sent to jail.

She suggested her father’s name saying that he was already very old and would not live for long.

Professional hired

The husband-wife duo then hired a professional shooter Chotu Sachan, who had several cases pending against him at different police stations. The ‘supari’ (contract killing) was given to Chotu for rupees ten thousand, police said.

As per the plan, Rajpati went to her parent’s house to bring her father Bramha Deen Yadav to her home on the pretext of some religious function at her home. An unsuspecting father  readily agreed to take part in the function.

Shot dead

As the vehicle reached a secluded spot, Chotu stopped it and shot dead Bramha Deen in the head twice killing him on the spot.

He fled from the spot after smashing the windscreen and firing some shots on the body of the vehicle so that they could claim that they had been attacked.

Rajpati then started shouting that her neighbours had shot dead her father. The passers by soon assembled there and police was called. On Rajpati’s statement, four people were arrested.

Foul play

The police, however, suspected some foul play as Rajpati had not suffered any injury in the shooting incident. The driver Chotu was also absconding after the incident. The criminal history of Chotu and a vacillating Rajpati exposed the conspiracy and she and her husband were arrested on Friday and the neighbours were freed.  Tragically, now all the members of Rajpati’s family, including herself, are facing murder charges.
