'Clear encroachment of crematorium land'

On Tuesday the villagers met Tahshildar Jaya and handed over a memorandum demanding the Tahshildar to take steps to clear the encroachment.

They said that an area of 1.10 acre has been earmarked as land to be used for cremation purpose but a local resident had conveniently encroached huge area of this government land for his personal use. They said that this person has even fenced the encroached land claiming it to be his own property.
