However, he was quick to add that “those who are doing good work are always haunted by evil eyes.”

The Chief Minister was speaking to mediapersons at T Narasipur on his way to
Kollegal, to campaign for the BJP’s candidate Nanjundaswamy.

“In fact, Shobha had requested me to free her from the responsibilities of the Mysore District, at the party programme held in Mysore recently. However, MLAs S A Ramadas and H S Shankarlinge Gowda had demanded that Shobha should be continued as district in-charge minister,” he said.

“Krishnaraja  constituency MLA S A Ramadas is my close friend, and I am aware of the fact that he is not keeping well. I also know that he is not utilising any of the services that are provided to him as the Chief Minister’s Parliamentary Secretary. It will be wrong to give any statements about Ramadas in the media. However, I will talk to him personally,”
Yeddyurappa said.

The Chief Minister also said that works taken up under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission and the CM’s Rs 100-crore fund are being executed well. “I have inspected the progress of these works,” he added.
