Protestors demand immediate release of Suu Kyi

Angered by the judgement of a Myanmar court extending Suu Kyi's house arrest, around 25 people gathered at the embassy of Myanmar in Chanakyapuri and shouted slogans against the military junta there.

Slogans of "Free Suu Kyi" echoed outside the embassy as police controlled the crowd that tried to enter the premises.

The protestors also wrote 'Free Suu Kyi' and 'Yes to Democracy' slogans on the boundary wall of the embassy.

The group later went to Jantar Mantar to continue their protest.
