'There was no snub'

Amitabh wrote in his blog that Kareena and her family have always given due respect to him. A source said, “Mr Bachchan feels that Kareena is a very warm and affectionate person.  She has never disrespected her elders. He has seen Kareena grow up as there has always been a huge connection between the Kapoors and the Bachchans.”
Kareena and Abhishek even debuted together in J P Dutta’s Refugee.
The duo had also received good reviews for their performances. However, the Bachchans were not in touch with the Kapoors after Abhishek and Karisma Kapoor called off their engagement. And after the split, Kareena and Abhishek never did a film together. A source said that Abhishek had refused to do films with Kareena even though she was ready to work with him. In return, Kareena also refused to do Dostana with him when Karan Johar offered the film to her.
