Flu or not, let's dance for laurels

In today’s round students from Ganga International School performed a Punjabi dance called Hulle Hullare with much gusto and verve.

Another group from Florence Public School, (primary section) performed a folk dance from Nagaland to the lilting strains of the sitar and piano.

Little Angels Public School, Kanakanagar, outdid themselves with a highly acrobatic performance of the famous tiger dance from Mangalore and Udipi, using flaming batons.

The senior section featured Rajasthan’s folk dance, Gujarat’s Dandia, Tamil Nadu’s Karagaattam, western-Indian fusion and many more dance forms which added to the zing
of the competition.

Lewa  School, Rajajinagar, offered a fusion of devotional Ganesha song in contemporary western outfit and steps, while the Godwin Public School, Sahakaranagar presented the Ganesha song in a traditionally attired dress with traditional steps.

Florence High School, RT Nagar, danced to a popular Rajasthani song by Subha Mudgal.
Anupama English Medium School, Shankarmutt, presented a western dance with foot tapping numbers from Bollywood movies.  Little Angles Public school, Kanakanagar performed Karagaattam, a folk dance of Tamil Nadu carrying pots balanced on their heads and students from Aryan Presidency school, Nagarabhavi performed Dandia dance.
