Vikramaditya had it fairly easy in the final as he dominated the first game giving Pranav absolutely no chance, racing to a 5-0 lead and then finishing the game 11-3 in 10 minutes.
But just when it appeared that Vikramaditya might run away with it, Pranav staged a fightback in the second game.
Pranav made Vikramaditya work hard for each point stretching him on many occasions with some excellent rallies that got the sizeable crowd excited. Leading 7-4 at one stage of the game, Pranav, looked like he might take the second game, but Vikramaditya caught up with his shaky opponent to equalise at 8-8 and played the bigger points better to wrap up the game 15-13.
Two games up, Vikramaditya was in a bit of a hurry to finish things off and he did that in style. Racking up an early 5-1 lead, Vikramaditya did not look back, as he collected the final six points to be crowned winner.
