“This is to clarify that Infosys is not in discussions for the acquisition of Thomson Reuters’ Healthcare business at present,” Infosys said in a statement.
When asked about recent media reports which suggested that Infosys is close to acquiring this unit (for USD 700-750 million), Infosys CEO and Managing Director, S D Shibulal had yesterday said, “We are dating...not yet engaged...we need to understand each other. So we are definitely...we have an intention to get engaged”.
Shibulal had said, “We have expanded our addressable space when it comes to acquisitions.”
