Institute and Jewellery Park in State

The event was attended by presidents of the Artisans Associations, Jewellery Associations,  industrialists and philanthrophrists related to Gem and Jewellery Trade.
 
Unorganised sectors
Entrepreneurs and philanthrophrists, including Panduranga Setty and Madhura M Chatrapathy, stated that the Industrial Park is of most importance in encouraging the artisans working in the unorganised sectors in gold, silver and Jewellery works in the State.
The training and development institute augments the well being of the artisans and craftsmen, in the unorganised sector to the extent of 92,000 employed throughout the State.

Discussions were also held to set up the state-of-the-art Functional Industrial Park close to the International Airport, Bangalore, to engage in mass production.

Apart from this, establishment of Silver Craftware Park at Mangoor Village Chikkodi in Belgaum District was also discussed in detail.
