The groups that will join the protest include the All India Democratic Students Organisation, All India Students Federation, All India Students Association, Students Federation of India and Democratic Teachers Front among others.
They will hold a protest march starting from the Vivekananda Statue and culminate at the Vice Chancellor’s office in the Delhi University to resist what they call an attack on history by right wing groups.
An online signature campaign, with a protest note addressed to the DU’s Vice Chancellor, was already signed by over 960 people as on Sunday.
