A joint team of police, army and Beacon forces yesterday rescued 59 people, including three children, trapped at Semthan Top on Srinagar-Kishtwar road due to inclement weather, they said.
High altitude areas of Kashmir, including Semthan Top, yesterday received the season's first snowfall in the valley.
