BEL CMD Anil Kumar presented the final dividend cheque of Rs.94.67 crore to Defence Minister A K Antony earlier in the day in New Delhi.
The company paid a total dividend of 216 per cent (Rs 131 crore) to the central government for fiscal 2011, including an interim dividend of 60 per cent (Rs 36.41 crore).
This is the highest total dividend the company paid to the government surpassing the 207 percent payout in fiscal 2007-08.
