Starting 12th on the grid, Armaan had a good dice with the cars ahead of him and after making two places at the start, the youngster improved his position by another two places and hung on to it to finish eighth.

Six laps into the race, Armaan had to contend with a wobbling front wheel which started to vibrate very badly and compromised his race.

Driving at full pace impossible but Armaan had opened up a sizeable gap by then with his nearest opponent and completed the race without further damage to the front tyre.
His race two campaign, however, ended in the first lap itself when he was hit from behind by another car. “It was really good to finish in the points again. Qualifying could have gone much better had I put all my fastest sectors together.

But that’s the way it goes and its quite difficult with such limited testing time and on unfamiliar circuits,” Armaan  said.

“The race pace could have been much faster but for the vibration in the front wheel. It got so bad half way through the race that my head was spinning like a top with the vibration and I could hardly see straight,” he said.
