<p>The protesters alleged that legislative council deputy speaker Puttanna instigated the JD(S) workers to attack the BJP leaders. <br /><br />The JD(S) leaders have lodged false complaints against the BJP leaders with an intention to postpone the elections, the protesters charged and requested the citizens to teach a befitting lesson to the JD(S).<br /><br />They urged police to arrest those who attacked the BJP leaders.<br /><br />Subramanya Naidu, MP PC Mohan and MLAs Dr C N Ashwath Narayan and B N Vijay Kumar led the protest.</p>
