Ninth annual conference of CSI from Friday

The event would be inaugurated at 6.30 pm by Prof P Balaram, Director of the Indian Institute of Sciences, Bangalore Friday at Multiplex auditorium, Infosys campus, on the outskirts of the city.

Medical Education and District Incharge Minister S A Ramdas will be the guest of honour on the occasion, with the event being presided over by Infosys Director Srinath. Sharing this with mediapersons, Organising Secretary Dr C B Keshavamurthy said over a thousand participants, experts from both national and international arena are expected to attend the conference.

At the conference, live stream of images pertaining to complicated cardiac procedures that are being carried out at various hospitals in the city would be beamed. Special programmes are being organised for Post-graduate students and Assistant Medical and Paramedical staff.

Former Director of Karnataka Cardiological Society of India Dr A S Chandrashekhar Rao will be the guest of honour at the event scheduled to be held at 10 am at MG Auditorium on November 11, with former Director of Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology Dr Gurappa will preside over.

Various experts including Dr P Manjunath, Dr M Suresh Babu, Dr S Sunil Kumar, Dr B N Raveesh, Dr M Premanath, Dr M G Ravishankar, Dr M Suresh Babu, will engage various sessions at the Conference.

Passes are available at Vikram Hospital and JSS Hospital and Jayadeva Cardiac Hospital unit at K R Hospital. Dr R Manjunath, Dr Srinivas Murthy, and Dr Harsha Basappa and others were present at the press meet.
