Krishna meets Khar informally over coffee, lunch

First the two leaders exchanged pleasantries and had a small chat over a cup of coffee during the break at the SAARC ministerial meeting before having lunch together along with Afghan Foreign Minister Zalmai Rassoul.

Khar and Krishna were seen engaged in a very animated conversation.

Both leaders have been very positive in their remarks on Indo-Pak ties since their arrival here, ahead of the meeting between their Prime Ministers tomorrow.

Earlier in the day, Krishna started off on a positive note saying the trust deficit with Pakistan was "shrinking".
