Eshwarappa got the notice after Sriramulu’s supporters filed a complaint against him for campaigning on the premises of Anjaneya temple in Sanganakallu on Saturday.
Shashikant Senthil, the assistant commissioner and the returning officer, issued a show-cause notice to Sriramulu, based on the BJP’s complaint that he arranged a mid-day meal for the voters at Joladarashi.
Tahsildar’s transfer
The BJP on Sunday wrote to the assistant commissioner seeking transfer of Tahsildar Shashidhar Bagali, who was a classmate of Sriramulu’s friend G Somashekhara Reddy.
