Members Gayathri Shanthe Gowda, K M Kemparaj, Bhagavan, Savitha Ramesh, H M Sathish, K M Sathish, Jyothi Somashekar, K T Manjunath are eyeing for the post. In JD(S), B M Sandeep is a contender. If Congress enters into an understanding with JD(S), then they have to share the power for nine months each. MLC Manjunath will be visiting the district on Friday to hold a discuss on the elections.
