Kynkyny Art is  presenting ‘Recollections Reconnections’, an exhibition of copper reliefs
by S G Vasudev, till December 3.

‘Sojourn-III’, an exhibition of paintings by Sanjay Mehta and Sajal K Mitra is on at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishat, Art Complex, Kumara Krupa Road till November 30, from 10.30 am to 7.30 pm.

Sanjay Mehta uses free-flowing rhythmic forms in his work. Sajal’s watercolours are the result of his endeavour to create a magical atmosphere and mood in his work.

Crimson, the Art Resource, is hosting an exhibition by Delhi-based artist Anwar at Crimson, The Hatworks Boulevard, 32, Cunningham Road till December 3, from 11 am to 7 pm.

‘Chinnara Habba’

Woven wonder

Award function

Fine footwork

Puppet show
Dhaatu Puppet Theatre is presenting, ‘Bridge between Dance and Puppetry’ on November 27, 6 pm to 8 pm, at Gayana Samaja, K R Road. The evening will also feature a bharatanatyam recital by Prakruti Hoskere. This will be followed by an interactive dance recital between a dancer puppet and Divya Hoskere.

The performance will culminate with a string puppet play, Bhakta Prahlada, directed by Anupama Hoskere.

‘Pung Cholom’
The Bengaluru Chapter of Spic Macay is presenting Pung Cholom, a Manipuri drum dance by S Singhajit and troupe, on November 24, 10 am at MVJ College of Engineering, Whitefield.

‘Dance Utsav’
Natya and Stem Dance Kampni is organising Namma Dance Utsav from November 26 to December 2 at various venues across the City. The dance festival will be inaugurated on November 26, 7.30 pm at UB City and will have live music, fashion and art extravaganza. There will be a children’s workshop and performance on November 27, 4 pm at UB City.

Dual treat

Piano recital
International Music and Arts Society is presenting a piano concert by Karl Lutchmayer on December 7, 7.15 pm at Alliance Francaise.

‘Fusion dreams’

New form
A Kannada play ‘#13 Margosa Mahal’, will be staged on November 26 and 27, 7.30 pm at K H Kala Soudha, Ramanjaneya Temple Compound, Hanumantha Nagar, Basavanagudi. Sinchana is presenting a witty, humorous and thought-provoking Kannada play Runavemba Suthakavu on November 25, 7.30 pm at Ranga Shankara. It is written, designed and directed by M C Anand. Veteran film actor S Shivaram will be presenting this hilarious play.
