Lad Lady grabs top honour in feature event

Favorite Lad Lady, ridden by PS Chouhan and trained by Darashah, landed the spoils in the CP Chinnappa Memorial Cup over 1600 metres, the feature events of the races held here on Wednesday.
Lad Lady defeated Scimitar (S Fargeat up) by two-and-three-quarters length while Shoban Babu-ridden Hampton Court finished third. Lad Lady clocked 1:37.86.
In the opening race of the day, the Manasagangotri Plate, S Ramesh anchored favourite Manthara to victory with a timing of 1:14.95. Prettyyashyashvin finished second and Crackerjack was third.
