Dist level road race on Dec 3

The race will be held in the categories of- high school boys (three km) and high school girls (two km). Twelve prizes will be given in both the categories, besides first, second and third prize.

N K Mangala, a resident of the city has adopted an owl and parrot of Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens here under animal adoption scheme of the latter. The managemen t of Sri Lakshmi Hayagreeva College has adopted a tortoise, cobra, king cobra, ring tailed lemur and crocodile. Dr Bahun Franji of Bangalore has adopted tigress Reeta, said a release from the executive director of the Zoo.
