Appanna scripts Karnataka win

At the CPT-IP grounds, Vidarbha began the day on 38 for one in reply to Karnataka’s 226, but were bundled out for 176 as Appanna and Patel joined hands to plot a dramatic collapse.

Karnataka now have five points from two matches, the same as TNCA President’s XI who pulled off a remarkable two-wicket win over Mumbai in another Group C encounter.
M Kaushik Gandhi struck 123 (198b, 13x4) as the President’s XI overhauled Mumbai’s 313 with seven deliveries to spare, finishing on 314 for eight wickets.

President’s XI will meet Vidarbha and Karnataka face Mumbai in the final set of matches beginning on Saturday, with all to play for considering that only the group winners advance to the knockout semifinal stage.
