Hazare set for another protest

In  a clear attempt to put pressure on the government to concede to its proposals on Lokpal Bill, the Team has also announced its intention to re-launch its movement from the Ramleela Maidan. However,  one of Team Anna’s spokespersons Arvind Kejriwal on Monday denied that the movement is building pressure on the government.  “This is to educate the people. It is totally democratic to discuss any issue which the parliament is discussing,” he said.

Kejriwal said the mode of protest on December was yet to be decided. It could be a Dharna or any other type of protest, he said.  Addressing a press conference, the Team Anna member also denied that they had decided to restart the movement on Lokpal Bill from Ramleela Maidan from December 27. He said: “we wanted to keep all options (open).”

FIR against Bedi baseless
Team Anna came out strongly against the FIR on Kiran Bedi alleging misappropriation of funds. Kejriwal distributed documents related to MoU with the Vedanta Foundation, claiming that the allegation of taking funds on false grounds was baseless, The funds were received as donations.
