I and B Minister condoles cartoonist Mario Miranda's death

"Mario Miranda was a multi-faceted personality. His cartoons captured the nuances of Goan life prolifically," Soni said in her message.

"His cartoons and images won him universal admiration. His murals at buildings and illustrations in children's books will always be fondly remembered," she said.

"His death has created a void in the world of creativity," Soni said.

Mario Miranda, 85, died at his residence near Panaji today.
