The child, suffering from a liver disorder was admitted to the Command hospital on August 21 after she tested positive for H1N1 virus. She succumbed to the deadly infection last night, they said.
Earlier, two middle aged women died of the infection in different city hospitals where nine more patients of Swine flu were reported to be in critical condition and had been put on ventilator.
Meanwhile, schools and colleges in Pune reopened on Monday after almost two week long closure effected to prevent spread of swine flu virus.
