Churning out great flavours

Located in Vivekananda Nagar, on Katriguppe Main Road, this darshini is the favourite hang-out of people living close to the eatery. The place is popular because of the reasonably priced items, friendly staff and the fine taste.

‘Aditya Juice and Chats’ serves seven varieties of chaats. In the North Indian section, you can go for roti, kulcha, naan and paratha with curry and daal. The Chinese menu has noodles, gobi manchurian, baby corn manchurian, paneer manchurian and fried rice. Along with all varieties of juices, the place also offers mango lassi and custard apple, which one should definitely try.

“The place is known for chaats, Chinese items and fresh juices. As we prepare the chaat masalas on our own, they add a special taste to our chaats. Most of the customers come here only to relish masala puri, sev puri and pani puri,” informs Janardhan, the owner of the eatery. Ahmed, a regular customer, agrees to it. “The chaat centre has been here for quite a long time. I have tasted all the items here many times. Sev puri, gobi manchurian and noodles are my favourites. As there are no proper chaat corners nearby, my family regularly hangs out here,” he says.

The shop opens at 9.30 am and shuts at 10.30 pm. It does brisk business in the evening when the young crowd comes in. “As we have sufficient workers, we can give each customer proper attention,” informs Uday, who looks after the eatery.

“The place is near my house and there are days when I have made many visits to this joint. The staff is friendly and they don’t mind if you ask for extra paani or any other thing. Even my friends like to come here just to have fresh juices and the hot gobi manchurian. Once our classes are over, we rush to this place and savour our favourite items,” says Arjun, a student in Shri Krishna PU College.
