Jawahars escape with draw against Herons

Batting first, Herons put up a massive 407 for six in 110 overs in their first essay thanks Vinodh’s 179  and Hoysala’s 101. Harsha Tiptur chipped in with 58. Jawahars, in reply, were bowled out for 154 in 47.4 overs, but got away with a draw as Herons ran out of time to force an outright win.

Socials, who made 290 all out in the first essay, declared the second innings at 122 for five. Needing 237 for win, MJCC, who scored 175 all out in first innings, ended up 58 for the loss of one -wicket.
