'Find solution to Peeta issue before Sept 28'

 
In a memorandum submitted to the district administration through Additional Deputy Commissioner Madan G Nayak on Saturday, Sene members urged that the ceiling of the Datta Peeta should be repaired immediately. Opportunity should be given for devotees to perform ‘Paduka pooje and Hindu priest should be appointed for the Peeta, they demanded.

The ‘Trikala pooje’ ritual should be performed at Datta Peeta. Infrastructure should be developed and tombs should be shifted. Roads to Datta Peeta should be developed and sign boards should be erected, Sene urged. Demands should be fulfilled soon, since the Dattamala Abhiyana would start on September 28. Dattamala Abhiyana will have to be observed in front of the Treasury Office, where ‘Paduke’ were kept, if demands were not fulfilled, Sene warned adding that the government’s decision should be intimated in writing before September 15.
