Ganesha idols immersed

 
The sangha held the 27th Ganesha festivities in Bangarpet with a difference by arranging 27 myriad idols. Cultural programmes were held for three days in the City’s Vijayanagar main gate. On the first day folk songs were sung by Bandahalli Vijayakumar and troupe, which enthralled the audience.

Film dances, bharatnatyam were performed and food was also distributed on the second day. A musical evening was held on the third day much to the delight of the residents.
On Wednesday Ganesha was immersed in the city’s Doddakere, thus, bringing an end to the Ganesha festivities.
