Two people Kempalakshmma and Nataraj have filed petition against the government saying that the Ward-25 (Horamavu) and Ward-54 (Hoodi) were not created properly.  Justice Venugopal Gowda, who is hearing the case, has issued notice to the government, Election Commission and the BBMP and other related agencies.

The petitioner has contended that two villages Byrathi and Bili Shivalay have been included in the Hoodi ward whereas these two villages were quite far from Hoodi. They also stated that the BBMP, which had earlier shown the population of the ward as 56,000, is now claiming that it to be just 21,187.

ISKCON

The written statement given by the Bangalore ISKCON to the Karnataka stating that it is not proper for the HC to hear the case has drawn the Court's ire. Government’s Advocate General  Ashok Harnahalli has given his consent to Mumbai ISKCON to file a criminal  contempt of court case against the Bangalore ISKCON.
