<p>A civil engineer was arrested here for allegedly killing his wife after a heated argument, police said on Wednesday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Bhanwar Singh (40), was arrested yesterday for smothering his wife Geeta Kanwar (38) with a pillow when she smashed his alcohol bottle to stop him from drinking, police said.<br /><br /> Heated arguments were a routine affair between the couple. He would also beat her. He confessed his crime to his father, who informed the police, leading to his arrest.</p>
