DHO Ramachandra Bayari told Deccan Herald that 20 infected persons were treated for the flu and were discharged while one is undergoing the treatment. Of the 11 suspected cases, three are from outside the district and eight are from Udupi and Manipal.
125 samples
The Virology Lab is getting samples for testing from other districts of the State and Kerala. Emergency cases are given priority. Hence, the results of the throat swab sample tests are delayed. Currently the lab has 125 samples to test while only 60 samples can be tested in 24 hours, he said.
