Addressing media persons here on Thursday, Dal district President Harish Acharya urged the district administration to dispose all applications pending in the Nemmadi Kendras across the district.
“A signature campaign will be launched against the Nemmadi Kendras. The staff at the Kendras are demanding affidavits from the public to dispose their applications. Poor people are forced to spend Rs 200-Rs 300 towards this purpose,” he alleged.
He also complained that ration card distribution is not being done properly in Virajpet taluk for the past six months. He also expressed his disappointment over the functioning of the CMC.
