If you are under the impression that Satish Shah seems to have taken on a sabbatical from acting since he is not to be seen quite frequently in Hindi films, think twice.

The noted comedian has landed a vital role in producer Devdutt Kapadia’s latest film Golibarij directed by Kshitij Zarapkar. According to Satish Shah, his role in the film has been inspired by the late Phu La Deshpande, who had penned the character of Peston Kaka.

Satish has worked a lot to develop his own mannerism as a Parsi Gujarati in the film and has wowed the director with his effortless performance in the film which is being slated for an early release. Golabarij marks the foray of Satish Shah in Marathi films.
